Hello and welcome back to the Sword Training Challenge. It is Day-19 and our scriptures are Psalm 91-95 and Proverbs 19. As always, there are a lot of great scriptures here, but I can’t let today go by without focusing on Psalm chapter 91. This is a chapter that has been put to song, prayed in prayers, memorized and recited by Christians around the world. Why? because in this psalm, we see how God protects his people, and how he is our shield and salvation. That doesn’t mean that hard times won’t come, but it means that we have a shield and a protector during those hard times. He helps us get through get through the trials and tribulations.
Always remember that with Christ in you. The Holy Spirit is in you. Psalm 91 tells us we are protected by the Lord. As believers, we are in the shadow of the Almighty. He is our refuge and nothing can prevail over that. Again, hard times and struggles will come, but we have the Lord God Almighty. And we have Jesus Christ, who himself suffered everything that we suffer so that he knows how to help us. We have the Holy Spirit in us which is in Christ Jesus and God the Father. As we trust in him and put our faith in him, Psalm 91 says,
“As we dwell in the shelter of the Most High, we will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.”
Thanks for joining the sword training challenge! I hope you’re getting as much out of it as I am. I promise you, even if you don’t feel like you’re getting anything out of it, you are because spending time in the Bible is spending time with God. Even if you have a day like I did last week, where nothing seems to be “speaking” to you, the fact that you’re reading the scriptures is putting them into your heart. Trust in that and have a great day.
May the Lord bless you and keep you!
